I am the Asset Management Librarian at a mid-sized private liberal arts university in Nashville, TN.  I am responsible for the library's physical and electronic collections and I am also the liaison librarian for the College of Education at my university.  I have experience in managing library resources (both print and electronic) throughout their life cycle and in facilitating workshops about topics such as collection management, electronic resources management, open access, technology in education, primary sources in education, and information literacy.

My research interests include training and continuing education, technology in the classroom, librarian-vendor relations, and negotiation practices in libraries.  For more information, and to see some of my past presentations, check out my Professional Activities page.

I am active in Tenn-Share, the state wide library purchasing consortium, and the Tennessee Library Association.

In addition to my day job, I'm the mom of an active elementary school kiddo, and I have more hobbies than time (including reading, knitting, sewing, baking, building LEGO, and whatever sparkly hobby has caught my interest today).
